- Secure both Posts in the ground
- Attach headers and rafters to posts
- Attach trim and upper assembly
- Secure pre-woven thatch pieces to frame

Warning: New natural palm grass thatch (Tahitian & Mexican) has lots of dust and oils on them or in them and should be rinsed thoroughly before or after installation to prevent staining of concrete, grout, or other porous material that the runoff will encounter. It is highly recommended that all porous surfaces including the wood of a structure be sealed to prevent staining even if thatch is washed or rinsed.
