Our Tahitian 2 Pole Oval Palapas are wonderful over spas, BBQ islands, pool decks, or just about anywhere else for lounging in the shade. If you want to truly vacation at home, purchase a Tahitian Palapa! There's nothing better than to relax in the shade of a palapa. Now you really can vacation at home!

Each Kit Includes

    • High quality natural Tahitian palm thatch roofing panels (Tahitian is just the style name it is made in Mexico)
    • 2 main poles 6" diameter with supporting lumber
    • Partially assembled roof rafters
    • Step-by-step instructions
    • All necessary hardware for assembly

Our 6 inch diameter poles extend to 2 inch diameter pine rafters. The thatch roofing is hand woven Tahitian thatch.

Palapa sizes are an a rough estimate because of the following. Your 7x14 foot palapa will have a 6 foot x 13 foot frame and we estimate the thatch to overhand the frame by 12 inches on all sides. If you were to measure from one side of the palapa to the other including the thatch you should measure around 8 feet x 15 feet. We estimate all of the Tahitian Palapas to have a 2 foot overhang. All our Tahitian Palapas will have a frame 2 feet smaller then the advertised overall size of the palapa.

The shape of the two pole palapa is in the shape of an oval and the legs beneath are placed under the peak of each half round end.

The pole spacing is measured from the center of the pole to the center of the other pole.
