Palapa sizes are a rough estimate because of the following. An 15 foot Tahitian palm palapa will have a 13 foot diameter frame and we estimate the thatch to overhand the frame by about 12 inches on all sides. If you were to measure from one side of the palapa to the other including the thatch you should measure approximately 15 feet. We estimate all of the round Tahitian Palm Palapas to have a 2 foot overhang. All our round Tahitian Palm Palapas will have a frame 2 foot smaller than the advertised overall size of the palapa.
