Tahitian Palm Thatch Panels measure 3 feet in length and 2 feet in height.Each panel is skillfully woven from dried palm leaves that are secured by sturdy nylon string for lasting durability. In order to achieve full coverage on your roofing structure, panels must overlap one another by at least 6 inches. These panels are 99% waterproof and have a thickness of 3 inches. Tahitian thatch panels will last 10 to 12 years depending on climate and maintenance. Compared to other natural thatch products, Tahitian thatch will last the longest. Installation is easy; tie or staple panels to a sturdy surface and repeat the process until full coverage is achieved. Only a single layer of Tahitian thatch is needed for sufficient coverage.
