In California our normal service area for palapas tiki huts and thatch roofing is in Ventura, Los Angeles, and Santa Barbara counties. We can service other areas in Southern CA but because of the distance the cost will be more. The prices will vary based on, time required, materials need, difficulty, distance from our location, etc. Please call or email to get a specific installation quote ([email protected] or 805-386-0306.) We do not cut concrete, tile or other material for the pole to go through. In ground installations are extra. If needed cutting should be done prior to our installation. In most cases we only install products provided by us. Structures are normally manufactured in our shop and assembled on site.
For replacement thatch roofing services, in most cases delivery, removal and disposal of old materials will be provided as part of the replacement service. If additional repairs are required that were not included in the initial estimate or invoice there will be added cost for the time and materials required. To receive an estimate for a thatch roofing repair or replacement, initially we request that you provide measurements of the roof frame, pictures (topside & underside), location address, what type of thatch roofing you want, and any know frame repairs the will be required. Initially we prefer not to go to the site for an in-person evaluation. If an in-person evaluation is needed usually an evaluation fee will be required $150+ depending on distance from our location. If an order is placed after the evaluation the fee can be refunded towards the installation.
